Main Street Minute: Suhr and Lofgren & Eco Chic

Posted: Updated:

Two former prosecutors have created a new law firm in Bismarck. Lloyd Suhr and Jackson Lofgren have a combined nearly sixteen years of experience as prosecutors in Burleigh and Morton Counties. Now, they've joined forces and formed Suhr and Lofgren, with an office in downtown Bismarck.

"Right now, North Dakota is seeing a historic need for attorneys. We hear all the time from people who maybe don't qualify for public defenders, but they don't have the money, or they can't find an attorney. Who's got the time anymore to handle their case? And these are cases that have some significant impacts to people," says Lofgren.

The firm opened this month and is already busy. They focus on criminal law and also work in family and employment law.

And a popular earth-friendly boutique is expanding from Fargo into Bismarck. Eco Chic is based on a philosophy of buying safer, healthier and more locally-made products. They offer re-purposed furniture, vintage accessories and jewelry, as well as bamboo kitchen products and skin-care products.
