Minot native, Josh Duhamel, has done pretty well as a movie star but now he's acting as a grocery store clerk. Diet Pepsi teamed up with him for a new internet campaign where customers at random grocery stores will be surprised to see him checking them out! Alyssa Marino caught up with Josh for this week's What's Trending.
AM: Tell me what it was like to surprise people like that?
JD: Diet Pepsi wanted to find somebody who was willing to do some ridiculous things and for better or worse, I love to act like an idiot. It was a really fun collaboration and we went in Friday to a grocery store in Pasadena and just messed with customers old and young. It was so much fun.
AM: Do you know where your next stop will be? North Dakota maybe?
JD: I'm coming back for the North Dakota State Fair. I'm actually going to be in Bismarck for a few hours. My sister is doing a project in Bismarck and I'm going to try and be a part of that. I try to get back a few times a year. Christmas, some times in the Summer, so I try to get back as much as I can.
AM: Thank you for joining me today!
JD: Thank you Alyssa.
