I'm a North Dakota native with a big sense of adventure. I love to travel, and I'm not afraid to strap on a backpack and get lost in the woods. If there is one thing I love as much as traveling, it's the theatre. And I am so happy to live in a community that embraces the arts!
I'm somewhat spontaneous, and I'm not afraid to take risks. One of my more impulsive adventures came when I packed up my bags and relocated to Sturgis, South Dakota to work for the Legendary Buffalo Chip. As a marketing and public relations assistant, I worked with high-profile clients and helped promote and coordinate the annual concert series and other rally events. We worked long hours and the work never seemed to disappear, but it remains one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Let's be honest, how many people can say hugging Alice Cooper or watching the Geico gecko race a rat on a zipline is all in a day's work?
I've worked in television on-and-off for the last ten years. But it wasn't until my senior year of college that I decided I wanted to make it a career. During my last semester at the University of Mary, I interned as a reporter at KXMB, where I acted as a multimedia journalist, shooting, editing and reporting. I quickly fell in love with broadcast journalism, and I can't imagine doing anything else.
I am so happy to start my career with the amazing team at KFYR-TV. If you have an interesting technology story, I'd love to hear it! Please drop me a line at email@example.com.
