Main Street Minute: Boot Barn

Sometimes business owners have to be flexible and make some changes to better serve their customers. "Boots have specific details to meet different needs for their customers," said Nick Hollman, Manager of Boot Barn.

Now known as Boot Barn, Western Work has owned RCC Western Wear for just about six months. All North Dakota locations changed their signs just this past week.

"I started with RCC about 14 years ago, and it was my part time college job. And, I guess I stuck around too long, and they made me the boss," said Hollman.

What made Hollman stay in the business was the customers. "We really like to find out what the customers is going use the product for. And, that way we can steer them in the right direction."

While Boot Barn is known for their country western products, they also have a wide variety of work wear for the construction and oil industry.

"The needs of a guy that is working on a pipeline are a lot different than the needs of a guy that's working on a baler. But some of those things cross each other's boundaries," said Hollman.

With that being said, Boot Barn will help you find the perfect fit. Boot Barn has locations in Minot, Fargo, Grand Forks and Bismarck.
