FT Multimedia Journalist (Minot) (9/19/2017)

KMOT-TV, the NBC affiliate in Minot, North Dakota, has an immediate opening for a full-time Multi-Media Journalist.

The right candidate will be a dynamic writer and storyteller with a passion for breaking news.

Job duties include writing for our broadcast and online platforms, shooting, non-linear editing, field reporting, contributing daily story ideas, as well as contributing to our social media presence. This position may also require some sports shooting with the potential to fill-in at the sports desk.

We are looking for a community-minded reporter that can hit the ground running. The successful candidate needs to be a team player and a self-starter able to work on their own.

A degree in Broadcasting/Communications or Multi-Media Journalism is preferred.
