KFYR-TV is searching for an MMJ to fill out our Emmy award winning newscast. The biggest story in the country is happening right now in our own back yard. We are producing Dakota Access Pipeline stories on a daily basis, and it`s not going away.

Located in the heart of the oil boom, we have the best of both worlds, a vibrant and rapidly expanding economy, surrounded by some of the world`s best hunting, fishing, hiking and biking.

Experience is a plus, but talented beginners will be considered. The successful candidate must love to report and shoot creative stories. Multimedia Journalist (KMOT) - 11/22/2016


KMOT-TV, the NBC affiliate in Minot, North Dakota, has an immediate opening for a full-time Multimedia Journalist.

The right candidate will be a dynamic writer and storyteller with a passion for breaking news.

Job duties include writing for our broadcast and online platforms, shooting, non-linear editing, field reporting, contributing daily story ideas, as well as contributing to our social media presence. This position also requires some sports shooting with the potential to fill-in at the sports desk.

We are looking for a community minded reporter that can hit the ground running. The successful candidate needs to be a team player and a self-starter able to work on their own.

A job with KMOT-TV is an opportunity to grow professionally and take on a variety of rolls.

A degree in Broadcasting/Communications or Multimedia Journalism is preferred.
