| 10/1/2009North Dakota State starting linebacker Matt Anderson will miss the rest of the season with a neck injury.
Head coach Craig Bohl says he can`t comment on the specifics of Anderson`s injury or whether it is career threatening.
Anderson, a 6-foot-2, 230-pound junior, is from Cavalier in northeastern North Dakota.
Freshman Brandon Jemison will start in Anderson`s place Saturday against Illinois State at the Fargodome.
Live Coverage of NDSU vs. Illinois State will begin at 1:00 CT on NBC North Dakota Sports. It`s a statewide event with KFYR-TV in Bismarck, KVLY-TV in Fargo, KQCD-TV in Dickinson, KUMV-TV in Williston and KMOT-TV in Minot all showing the game live.
Due to the live Bison coverage Senior PGA Golf will not be show on Saturday but the final round will air on NBC at 3:00ct on October 4th. The Notre Dame vs. Washington football game will be joined in-progress after NDSU football on October 3rd.
