St. Mary's used a big fourth inning Friday to knock off Century at Municipal in the first game of a double header. Meanwhile Bismarck high routed the Magicians in Minot. Both teams were back at Municipal Saturday facing off.
St. Mary's led 1-0 lead in the third inning when Thomas Barry blooped one into right center. Noah Kopp scored from second on the play and the Saints led 2-0.
In the bottom of the inning Bismarck High cut the lead to 2-1 when Seth Siverson brought Jaxon Ford home on a line drive to right field. As the fourth got started the Saints offense got going once more as Dillon Reiner put a shot into left center bringing in one run to put the Saints up 3-1. They held on to win the first game 4-2, before Bismarck High won the second game 5-3.
