College rodeo teams are in Casper, Wyo., this week competing at the college National Finals Rodeo (NFR).

Dickinson State is one of those teams, as the women finished first in the Great Plains region this year.

The leader for the women has been senior Bobbi Grann. Grann was the top in the women's all-around and goat tying this year in the region.

"My goat tying horse, I actually just started using this year. His name is Hunter and he's my sister's horse. My sister is also on the team here with me," Grann said. "He has completely changed my goat tying career. For the last three years I've ended up second in the region. So I completely give all the credit to that horse, he's been great."

As of Friday, Grann was in fourth in the goat tying standings at the College NFR.

On the men's side, Dalton Rixen from Richardton is in 11th in saddle bronc.
