A Williston and Chicago man who were arrested in connection with a drug ring suspected of supplying laced heroin will be tried in Federal Court.
Timothy Amundson, 31, and 22-year-old Sylvester McCurry are each facing a federal charge of distribution of heroin.
Authorities say both men were part of a Chicago-based heroin distribution ring blamed for a series of overdoses in a two week span, which resulted in one death.
Both men's district charges have been dismissed because of the federal charge.
The date for their next court appearances has not been announced.
