Two Dickinson residents were found dead in the basement of a home late Friday night. The Dickinson Police Department says around 10 p.m., they went to the home in the 700 block of 22nd St. W. when a caller requested an ambulance for two people who had been shot. Police then found deceased 35-year-old Angelique Spenser and 53-year-old Steven Parker in the basement, both shot once. They were transported to St. Josephs Hospital where they were pronounced dead as a result of the gunshots from a handgun that was found in the home. Police say Spenser and Parker were believed to be romantically involved. Police say the caller knew both victims, and was interviewed then released. Cpt. Joe Cianni says the department believes this was an isolated incident and that the general public is not in danger. There was no sign of a break-in or struggle at the scene. We'll have more information as it becomes available.
