A Montana man who pleaded guilty to luring minors by computer will wait to be sentenced in North Dakota, as he is still being held in Montana.
Authorities arrested 47-year-old Mark Sheehan as part of an Internet Crimes Against Children operation in late May and early June of 2013.
An undercover officer in Minot posted an ad on Craigslist claiming that a teenage girl she knew wanted to make some money.
Sheehan responded to the post, saying he wanted to engage is sex acts with the girl.
The officer and Sheehan arranged to meet in Minot, where authorities arrested him.
Sheehan's attorney told the judge via teleconference Friday that officials in Montana should be able to transport Sheehan to Minot for his sentencing within the next two months.
The luring charge is a Class B felony that carries with a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.
