Mandan police are looking for a man who they say assaulted a 28-year-old Mandan woman late Saturday night. Officers responded to a call of a fight on the 200 block of East Main Street in Mandan.
The victim says she was outside on the sidewalk when she was punched in the face several times by a man. She had a cut above one eye which required stitches. Her nose was broken and she had a laceration to her upper lip.
The victim said she didn't know her attacker.
The man was described as 6 feet tall, thin, Native American, between 20 and 30 year old and shoulder length hair in a ponytail. He had on a grey baseball cap and was wearing a sweatshirt.
Witnesses say the suspect had been in the Moscow Bar that evening. Anyone with any information is asked to call Mandan police.
