Names Released in Fatal McKenzie County Crash

The North Dakota Highway Patrol has released the names of the driver and victims of last Thursdays crash in McKenzie County.

Nineteen-year-old Kayla Ciha of Tucson, Ariz., was trying to pass 52-year-old Glenn Lazenko from Ohio, while an oncoming car carrying 27-year-old Adam Brown from Grand Rapids, Mich., 30-year-old Jason Shelton from Rigby, Idaho, 22-year-old Jerold Bailey and 55-year-old Timothy Hargis from Watford City, N.D., was heading westbound on Highway 10.

Ciha clipped Lazenko's truck while attempting to return to the eastbound lane sending Lazenko and his 26-year-old passenger Chase Holder from Bancroft, Mich., into Brown's car.

Brown and Bailey died at the scene

Shelton was air lifted to a Minot Hospital where he later died.

Bailey was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.

Lazenko and Ciha were not injured.
