Minot Bomb Squad Responds to Bomb Threat in Williston

What started as a routine arrest became anything but that on Saturday.

The Williston Police Department says officers were called to a house on 2nd Avenue West in Williston and arrested 23-year-old Gregory Stocker on unspecified felony and misdemeanor charges.

When they were leaving the home, they noticed several items that appeared to be what they said were explosive or destructive devices.

Minot's bomb squad responded to the scene and packed up what was there.

The case is still under investigation. The Williston Police Department does not believe the community is in any further danger.
