A winning Powerball ticket purchased in Williston, N.D. for the Saturday, Jan. 31 draw matched all five white balls, making it worth $1 million.
The winning numbers are five, 11, 16, 26, 50 and the Powerball is 34. No one has come forward yet to claim the prize.
The lucky ticket was sold at the Horizon Resources Cenex, 209 Washington Ave., in Williston, N.D.
Winners have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize. "If you have the winning ticket, be sure to sign the back and call the North Dakota Lottery office to make arrangements for claiming the prize," said Randy Miller, director of the North Dakota Lottery.
The last million dollar North Dakota Powerball prize was won on Sept. 21, 2013. That ticket was sold at Sunmart, in West Fargo, to an anonymous winner from West Fargo.
The North Dakota Lottery has had 29 Match Five Powerball winners. If a player purchases Power Play for an extra dollar and matches all five white balls, the prize increases to $2 million.
The Powerball jackpot for the Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015 draw is estimated at $317 million. For winning numbers and other information, or to join the North Dakota Lottery Players Club, go to lottery.nd.gov.
