Mandan Police are looking for a man accused of attacking his sister with a knife after talking about getting a job.
Police say they were called to southeast Mandan Sunday just after 4:30 p.m.
Police are not releasing the name of the suspect at this time because the case is still active.
The 20-year-old victim states she was talking to her 23-year-old brother about working on his life, and he didn't like it.
She told police that he grabbed her by the throat, slammed her into a door and choked her.
She added that he threw a knife at her but missed.
Police say she had injuries to her upper lip, inside her mouth and neck.
Authorities state he took off and the case has been given to the state's attorney.
