A Mandan man accused of hitting and threatening his girlfriend is held on a $400 bond.
Mandan police received a domestic dispute report on Saturday morning.
The 22-year-old victim says 21-year-old Spencer O'Keefe struck her head and she tried to run to a neighbor for help.
Investigators say O'Keefe kicked her, stood on her head and tried to strangle her.
The victim says he held a knife to her neck.
O'Keefe was charged with aggravated assault and terrorizing.
He is not allowed to contact the victim.
