Morsette sentenced for 2015 Mandan vehicular homicide case that killed 2 women

Jordan Morsette was sentenced May 24 for a 2015 Mandan vehicular homicide case that killed two women.

The judge sentenced Morsette to 25 years in prison. He was sentenced to 20 years for the first count of vehicular homicide with 10 years suspended, 20 years for the second count of vehicular homicide with 10 years suspended and five years for vehicular injury. The sentences will run consecutively.

Morsette will also serve five years supervised probation after his timed served. He also is prohibited from consuming alcohol or controlled substances during that time.

The judge stated many letters have been received about this case, and the surviving crash victim, Shayna Monson, was present in court.
