Disorderly Conduct at Bismarck Walmart

By  |

A Bismarck police officer had to draw a gun in the south Walmart parking lot.

Someone called police around 7 p.m. to report a possible drunk driver. Officers spotted the car in question in the Walmart parking lot.

Three people were inside and an officer ordered the driver to get out of the car. Police say he got out and confronted the officer and refused to comply with his orders.

That's when the officer pulled out his weapon. The man ran off with a woman but didn't get far.

28-year-old Barris Guy of Bismarck faces charges of refusing to submit to a sobriety test, resisting arrest and fleeing on foot. He's also wanted on three outstanding warrants.

The woman is charged with disorderly conduct and fleeing.

Police identified the third person as Guy's brother, but there's no word on if he's been charged with anything.
