Fatal Motorcycle Crash in Mandan

A 51-year-old Mandan man died May 9 when his motorcycle crashed into a curb and struck a light pole.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol says that the man was traveling westbound on Old Red Trail when he crossed into the eastbound lanes and struck the adjacent curb.

The driver fell from the motorcycle and came to rest partially on a nearby sidewalk.

He was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
