Build-A-Burger Charity Event Raises Money for United Way

It's burgers galore at one Dickinson restaurant today for United Way's first Build-Your-Own-Burger charity.

Starting at eleven, customers at Player's can purchase a burger for a discounted price.

The funds from the sold patties go towards United Way. United Way helps find funding for many non-profit organizations in Dickinson.

The goal is to sell three hundred burgers, and they're well on their way.

"We have an amazing community that we really pull together, and that they know it's for United Way, I absolutely think we'll reach that goal," said Nichole Deleon, Executive Director of Dickinson United Way.

RockPile Energy Services is sponsoring the event. This is just one event of United Way's annual fundraising campaign.
