Bismarck Police Investigate Shots Fired Outside Supermarket

Bismarck Police are investigating an incident after a Bismarck supermarket employee reported that shots were fired outside the building Wednesday morning.

Police say a male suspect fired two rounds into the air outside Dan's Supermarket on Turnpike Avenue.

Authorities found two .45 caliber casings in front of the store.

Surveillance video shows the man entering the store at 2:18 a.m., using the restroom and then exiting at 2:44 a.m.

Police say after firing the weapon the man entered a vehicle and drove east.

The suspect is described as being 5'10", 160 pounds wearing blue jeans and a dark blue Air-Jordan sweatshirt.

The vehicle is a red two door Chevrolet Cavalier with embossed plates.
