A Bismarck man arrested yesterday for assaulting two men has officially been charged.

29-year-old Brently Brooks Ironroad is being held on a $2,500 bond for two counts of aggravated assault and a robbery charge.

He's now at Burleigh County Detention Center.

Police say the attacks happened shortly after 1 a.m. April 18 on north Third Street.

They say Ironroad assaulted the men in the apartment of one of the victims, but they don't know why.

He took one victim's wallet, which officers found when they made the arrest.

One of the victims had a broken nose and missing teeth, and the other was knocked unconscious.

Ironroad will have a preliminary hearing once he has an attorney.
