A Bismarck man is in custody after his wife says he threatened to kill her with a knife.
Bismarck Police were dispatched for a report of a woman who had been assaulted on Saturday night. When officers arrived, the 50-year-old Bismarck woman had visible injuries on her face, sides and arms.
The victim says she and her 52-year-old husband were arguing when he threw her into the pantry door.
According to the affidavit, the man held his wife down and hit her with a soup can.
He left the house after he found out his wife had called 911.
He was later found and was arrested for aggravated assault, felonious restraint and terrorizing.
