Bismarck Teacher Resigns After Suspension

Bismarck teacher Todd Tschosik has resigned for personal reasons.

The Bismarck school system says Tschosik resigned last night and the resignation becomes effective today.

Tschosik was suspended on Tuesday for calling a radio talk show during his work day. He had not returned to work since being suspended.

Tschosik had recently been in the news because of a domestic dispute with his then fiance, Superintendent of Public Instruction Kirsten Baesler.

Prior to that incident, Tschosik had been under scrutiny and was given a letter of reprimand in January for absences from his teaching job.
