Almost $7,000 Worth of Tools Stolen from Bismarck Construction Site

Almost $7,000 worth of tools were stolen from a Bismarck construction site on Friday.

Bismarck Police were dispatched to the new Ace Hardware location on 4321 Ottowa St. and noticed a forklift that was left running was seen parked on the street.

Northwest Contractors and RK Electric say someone cut a padlock that was used to secure the tools.

Officers noticed tire marks from the forklift, which was parked, driven from inside the building to the street.

Two wall supports and walls were destroyed by the forklift.
