2016 Williston Basin Petroleum Conference begins in Bismarck

The Williston Basin Petroleum Conference and Expo starts Tuesday at the Bismarck Event Center.

Organizers expect about 2,800 people to attend the three-day event highlighting the state's oil patch.

The North Dakota Petroleum Council says people are coming from about 40 states and a even a few foreign countries.
