Mitch Griess is one of the founding members of Armor Interactive. Three years ago, he and two friends put their heads together, merged their 12-year-old businesses and created the company that does a little bit of everything. Griess wears the creative director cap, Kyle Baltrusch handles IT issues, and Shaun Ahlgren is in charge of web development.
"We decided to come together and form a new company called armor interactive and offer the same great solutions and services to already active clients," Ahlgren said.
Armor Interactive provides marketing, software, and IT solutions for more than 300 clients across the country. But they don`t follow a traditional plan of waiting for something to break before they fix it.
"We install software and make sure we can manage and network their computer systems. If we see something that`s going on with their hard drives or their networking equipment, we dispatch a tech person to fix the problem before it becomes a big problem," Ahlgren said.
They provide that same personalized service when it comes to helping a company brand stand out, and they take pride in their award-winning designs.
"Every client is different. We don`t use templates, don`t use clip art. Every logo design, every website, every marketing piece is tailored specifically to the client," Griess said.
That individual attention has helped the company grow and expand, attracting some high-profile clients. Armor Interactive`s clientele is not limited to just Bismarck-Mandan and the surrounding areas. They do work for national clients as well, such as the national Arena Football League teams such as the Jacksonville Sharks.
"From Florida to California, we have a diverse client base," Griess said.
As that client base keeps growing, so does the company. They`ve doubled their staff over the past 12 months and they anticipate steady growth for the next several years.
Armor Interactive also creates long-term plans for companies. The name is meant to convey a sense of strength and functionality.
