UND Hockey finishes first half of season

GRAND FORKS, N.D. - If it seems like we haven’t mentioned much about UND hockey, it’s because they haven’t had a game since their St. Cloud series last weekend. The Fighting Hawks won’t be playing a game for a couple more weeks as they have hit the end of the first half of their season.

Looking back at how it all panned out, they learned what to leave behind them and what to carry on into the second half of their year.

"I would say we're, content with what we're doing. You know, we know we have to do better in a lot of different areas to get to where we want to go, but to be 10-5-5 with a young group, you know growing on the road and at home, you know, we'll take it. But knowing that we want more, and wanting more is making sure that we get better every day in practice and games, and try to get to another level," said Head Coach Brad Berry.

UND will be back on the ice at home at the Ralph on Dec.30th for an exhibition game against the US under-18 team, and then on January 5th and 6th against Omaha.
