BISMARCK, N.D. - The most valuable player in the Mon-Dak, is a member of the Mystics. Liza Doppler of Bismarck State earned that honor with just under 300 kills and 300 digs. She’s joined on the All-Conference team by defensive specialist, Sam Anklam.

Tomorrow, the Mystics host Wahpeton-Science for the Region Championship. The same match-up happened the last two years, but the Wildcats came out on top. BSC has beat Science twice this season.

Head Coach Jeni Walsh says that both teams will be coming out ready to go, "Absolutely they are, and we would expect nothing less, every time we play Wahpeton, it's always a big rivalry game, we always expect their best, and we want to give them our best as well."

Walsh says passing will be the key tomorrow. It’s the most under-appreciated part of the game. "If we can control the first contact, it sets us up very nicely to run our offense. We play a 6-2 offense, so we have three hitters running at the net all the time. If we can get a first, good ball contact, we can have multiple people going, and try and keep their blocking off guard."

It’s a 7:00 p.m. CST start Wednesday at the Armory.
