Demons football getting ready for Fargo South

Meeting a team for the second time in the season is a common occurrence in AAA football.

The first game at the Community Bowl tomorrow is Bismarck against Fargo South.

Last month, the Demons beat the Bruins 41-14. It was one of the best outings of the year for B.H.S.

We played them earlier in the season and the one thing we have to do is erase that because we played very well and they didn't so if we go in thinking we can just show up and win we're in trouble and they're a very talented team. Defensively they're linebacking corp is as good as we've seen all year and they're kids that fly around and do some things really well," said Mark Gibson, Demons head coach.

The regular season game was the middle of Bismarck's 5-game winning streak. A streak that started with a win over Minot after getting throttled by West Fargo.

Gibson said: "When we went in the first time we wanted to see a quality opponent and we got a quality opponent but I thought we played extremely well in the three phases of the game and that's not easy to do and so you're hoping that continues. You should be at this point in time of the year peaking a little bite so we got a couple of hiccups but overall I've been pleased with our progress."

The Demons and Bruins start at 4:00ct on Friday at the MDU Resources Community Bowl.

Century plays Fargo Davies on Friday Night.
