MINOT, N.D. - A former Minot Minotauros standout is returning to the team.
The team announced Wednesday that defenseman Sam Fuss, who played for the Tauros during the 2015-16 season is back with the team to play after he had to redshirt following an ACL injury while playing for Niagara University.
Fuss had also played last season with the USHL's Cedar Rapids Roughriders.
During his first stint with the Tauros, Fuss posted 18 points and led the team with a +17 rating.
Coach Marty Murray said Fuss' addition will have an immediate impact on the team.
He'll join the team Wednesday night for their first practice as the team gets ready for this weekend's matchups with their bitter rivals, the Bismarck Bobcats.
