Bismarck's indoor professional football team gets nickname

BISMARCK, N.D. - Bismarck’s new indoor professional football team has a nickname. The Bismarck Bucks will begin play in the spring, and the name came after receiving input from the owners, key stakeholders, fans and staff.

"Ultimately, I think we ended up with a really good name. Our name fits our community, our region really well. I love our colors. It's a beautiful mark, and so we're very happy with it. The process was, well I hope I never go through the process again of naming something, but we ended up in a good spot," says Richard Davis, Head Coach and General Manager.

Davis and the Bucks front office personnel are busy trying to get sponsors and sign players.

Coach says he has a couple more commitments, but until he gets a signed contract he cannot say anything about the players.
