The Hobey Baker award recognizes top college hockey players every year. This year, in a pool of 74 DI student athletes, Bismarck’s own Alec Rauhauser is among the list of nominees.
Rauhauser was a graduate from Century, and is a sophomore defenseman playing at Bowling Green. In his rookie season, he was named to the WCHA All-Rookie Team, along with being the top freshman in the class with 22 points, 17 assists, and had the game-winning goal in the WCHA first round playoffs.
So far this season, Rauhauser has 26 points and has scored 6 goals with 17 assists.
