DICKINSON, N.D. - Dickinson High’s Cameron Jorda is this year’s North Dakota Gatorade Player of the year. Jorda is being recognized as the state’s best baseball player, as he is also a finalist for the prestigious Gatorade National Player of the Year award.
The 5’10 senior helped lead the Midgets to a 27-3 record while owning a .416 batting average, he has 13 stolen bases with 33 RBI’s. Jorda was also named to the USA Today’s American Family Insurance All-USA North Dakota First Team.
On top of his performance on the baseball diamond, Jorda has maintained a 4.08 GPA, and is still undecided for where he will attend college.
