2 Dickinson Midgets recruited for Division One basketball

BISMARCK, ND - It's a big deal for a North Dakota High School to have a Division One basketball recruit. It's extremely rare for one team to have two of them. Dickinson High School can make claim to .

Jordan Meidinger is heading to NDSU.

Jordan is a rare commodity. He's 7-feet tall and he has big potential to develop with the Bison, "NDSU has a great atmosphere," said Meidinger. "It has a great family. The coaches are great. The teammates are great. The basketball program is great. The new Scheels Arena, I could go on for days, but I just love it there."

Moody is the top high school scorer in the state, averaging 32-points a game as a junior. He's glad to be going to Grand Forks.

"I'm just excited to be around other Division One athletes. Hopefully that makes me a better person, better athlete because you are a product of your environment so hopefully I can be a product of mine," said Moody.

The high school season for these two Division One recruits, and the rest of Class-A for that matter, begins in less than a month.
