BISMARCK, N.D. - If you take a drive through downtown Bismarck, chances are you've seen the decorations at Zimmerman's Furniture. It takes three days to decorate the entire store.

"It is so worth it. People come in the store and they say how much they love driving by at night and how beautiful it is,” said General Manager Kim Kelin.

The people who come to the store notice.

"It's really beautiful from the outside. They did a lot of work. It's nice and I really enjoy it when they go by,” said customer Bernard Wright.

But what you probably didn't know was the decorations have a long history in the Zimmerman family.

"From Santa Claus', to little statues, to memory items that have been in my wife and I's home. We have downsized our home and now, Kim puts them up in the store for everyone to enjoy. We didn't just throw them out, they're here,” said Owner Gene Zimmerman.

And they are on display for everyone to enjoy.

"Why not bring the beautiful memories of Christmas, tradition, your memories in the store. So when they come in and they walk in, they get a little feel of what their home can feel like at the holidays,” said Kelin.

If you didn't get a chance to see them before Christmas, The Zimmerman’s say they will stay up until the first week of January.
