Young entrepreneurs in Minot share some business tips

BISMARCK, N.D. - Young entrepreneurs in Minot got to share some business tips and advice today at the Connect Minot event.

From an online hockey clothing store to a mobile ice cream truck, some of Minot's youngest business owners got to share their experiences with the public.

Whether it was the struggles they endured or the success they have achieved, both say that they are happy to own their businesses.

"Go right at it because there is nothing you can lose. Alot of people think that it takes a lot of money to start a business but it actually doesn't if you keep it online. People say oh that you need a building and all this other stuff but there's a bunch of free websites that you can post your stuff on and sell from there," said Easton Bennett, owner of Plug Hockey Co.

Owner of Oscar's Ice Cream Oscar Hultz said, "It's a lot more work than you think it's going to be and it always cost more than you think it's going to so just make sure you know the right people and that everything is set in place."
