Woman sentenced to more than 40 years in federal prison for sexual exploitation of a child

BISMARCK, N.D. - A woman has been sentenced to serve more than 40 years for a 2015 incident involving a minor in North Dakota.

Court records say 29-year-old Ashley Moore allowed the minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct to be used on the internet.

Moore also distributed images of the minor on the Internet.

Moore has been charged with three counts of sexual exploitation of a child, distribution of images depicting the sexual exploitation of children.

U.S. Attorney Gary Delorme says Moore will face 25 years for exploitation of a minor, 20 years for distribution of images depicting the sexual exploitation of children and 10 years of supervised release.
