MINOT, N.D.- A Ward County Deputy who lodged complaints against the sheriff and state's attorney addressed his grievances again before county commissioners Tuesday morning.
The Commissioners gave Deputy Timothy Poston a chance to speak about his claims against State's Attorney Roza Larson and his boss, Sheriff Bob Barnard.
The commission moved to research new information on Poston's light-duty work status and whether he has been given a fair amount of work.
Poston said that he brings up his issue in light of recent media coverage about poor employee retention by the Sheriff's Department.
“Right now we are not at full capacity, so I find it very hard that there is no light duty work to be had,” said Poston.
We reached out to Sheriff Barnard who told us they are not going to comment at the advice of their attorney.
