The Bismarck Police Officer who was involved in a shooting on October 15th has been medically cleared to return to work.
That morning, the officer arrived at a hotel on East Main Avenue.
Before he could get out of his squad car, he was attacked by 51-year-old Donald Miller, who punched him in the head and gouged his eyes.
The officer tried to immobilize Miller, but it didn't work, so he was forced to shoot the suspect in the abdomen.
Miller has been charged with Robbery and Simple Assault on a Peace Officer.
