BISMARCK, N.D. - As part of its Vision 2030 campaign, the University of Mary is renovating and expanding its campus. Tonight they unveiled a cornerstone of the plan.

Hundreds of people came out to watch the dedication of the $20 million Lumen Vitae University Center. The center includes a new 24/7 cafeteria and bookstore. Behind the Lumen Vitae center, school president Monsignor James Shea dedicated a cross on gift hill and a grotto for prayer and reflection. His hope is for the center to be an anchor for all students.

“Students of all faiths will know that there is a heart for them here. That there is a home for them here. That there is a place for them here,” said Monsignor James Shea.

The Vision 2030 campaign will cost about $272 million dollars.
