The Bismarck Police say they have not located a man who led law enforcement on a high speed chase through Burleigh County. After they were notified of a chase going south on highway 83, law enforcement terminated the pursuit once it got to North Bismarck.
A highway patrol airplane tracked the vehicle to the intersection of 16th street and hanaford ave where the vehicle ran a stop sign and crashed into another car. A man then got out of the car and fled on foot.
Law enforcement attempted to track the suspect, but lost the trail. They say the suspect is not a danger to the public but ask for anyone who sees him to call the police.
The suspect is described as a taller male with a shaved head, tattoos on his neck, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and a red backpack.
