RUTHVILLE, N.D. – The North Dakota Highway Patrol has released information on a crash Thursday morning involving a car and a semi-truck.
The patrol says a 21-year-old North Carolina native from Minot Air Force Base was hurt when he collided with a semi while heading southbound on Highway 83 around 10:45 Thursday morning.
They say the semi driver, a 31-year-old man, was headed west on County Road 8 and attempted to cross 83, but failed to yield to the southbound car.
The 21-year-old driver of the car was seriously injured. The semi driver was not hurt.
Both men were wearing their seat belts at the time of the crash.
