Bismarck Police search for suspect in early morning shooting

BISMARCK, N.D. UPDATE:The Bismarck Police Department is looking for 21-year-old Benjamin Isaiah Williams who is a suspect in an early morning shooting in Bismarck.

Williams is described as an African American male, 6’0”, 170 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes (also known as: “Sinister” “Sin Williams”)

Bismarck Police say to not approach Williams, but to call the Bismarck Police Department at 701-223-1212 or your local law enforcement agency. Williams should be considered armed and dangerous.


ORIGINAL STORY: A Bismarck man received multiple gunshot wounds according to police.

Authorities say they were called after 2 a.m. to the 1400 block of North 22nd Street to respond to a report of gunshots.

Police received a call while driving to the scene about a 21-year-old man at a local hospital with gunshot wounds.

Police are in the process of conducting interviews with the victim and witnesses.

The victim’s condition is unknown.
