Traffic stop leads to counterfeit money arrest in Bismarck

BISMARCK, N.D. - A traffic stop led police to arrests that are more serious than a traffic violation.

Bismarck police say they tried to pull the vehicle over Wednesday night, and the driver of the vehicle fled.

It was later located by an officer early this morning who discovered counterfeit bills, a printer, and drug paraphernalia.

The two people in the vehicle were arrested for different charges, and police located $65 worth of counterfeit money.

Police say they've also received four other reports of counterfeit $10 bills, $5 bills and $20 bills in Bismarck.
