Three finalists selected for next Bismarck police chief

BISMARCK, N.D. - Three people have been selected as finalists to become Bismarck's next police chief.

The three chosen candidates are Dave Draovitch, the Deputy Chief of the Bismarck Police Department; Philip Smith, junior., Chief of Police for the City of Roswell, New Mexico; and Gregory Volker, Division Commander with the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department.

The candidates will now complete an accomplishment survey before a general management exercise and interviews with the Bismarck City Commission on July 20 at 8 a.m.
