DICKINSON, N.D. - The Theodore Roosevelt Library Foundation is looking at three new site options that could include having a part of the museum in Medora.
Two of the options include separating the library and museum, with the museum being built in Medora or the South unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The third option would be a unified design between Dickinson and Medora. Foundation CEO Wally Goulet says a Badlands location would add a little more to the project.
“There's an experience that goes with that and there's a feeling that that location would give us that additional experience,” said Goulet.
Goulet says the foundation continues to work with Dickinson State, regardless of the site they choose. If they stay in Dickinson, construction could start as soon as October.
