MINOT, N.D. - Minot's new glow-in-the-dark mini-golf course is celebrating its Grand Opening. The Putt District, located at 17 South Main Street in Downtown, is ready to bring a unique brand of fun to the Magic City.
"A good friend of mine from college, Scott Gordon, he pitched the idea to me," said co-owner Eric Thoemke. "He said, 'man we have to make a mini-golf course' and I said 'alright.' I was crazy enough to invest in it, and over time it was such a good investment. We just really wanted to bring an amusement-type activity to where we're drawing people down here [to Downtown]. It would be a things to do on the list, and then bring [people] to those local shops. Bring them to those eateries down here that are fantastic and one of a kind to the community."
