MINOT, N.D. - Thursday at the Discovery Center, the Trinity Health Foundation is providing a free night of fun for families who have children with special needs.
Krystal Butgereit, pediatric occupational therapist at Trinity Health says that this is a great event to bring kids of all ages and all abilities to.
Butgereit said: “Families who may be a little bit nervous about bringing their child out into a different environment. Whether it be to different behaviors or things that look a little bit physically different. You know, that are going to be other children there, children with behavioral issues, all types of children. So, it’s really accepting to everyone"
There will be Occupations, Speech and physical therapist on hand to answer any questions families might have. The event will be held at the Discovery Center Thursday from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. and its free admission.
